Here for your consideration is a neat Mahogany Cabochon. This volcanic glass has layers or "Ribbons" throughout its smoky semi-translucent structure that exhibits 3-D, almost parallax effect when oberving under lights with bright orange mahogany colors. This unusual type of volcanic glass is usually found in Cental Oregon. 

Wicked polish front and back. Standard radius dome.

This attractive cabochon will make a bold wire wrap or precious metal setting. Quite an heirloom collectible as well.
