Here for your consideration is a fine Australian Andamooka Matrix Opal cabochon. This cabochon exhibits veins of opalescent, glittering red, aqua, green and purple dichroisms on the front and the back. The patterns in this stone are subtly flashy and very interesting. This opal is carbon black on top and natural brown in the middle.  

High polish front and back. Near flat radius dome.

This cabochon will make a beautiful pendant, either wire wrapped, bezel set. It’s quite an heirloom collectors piece as well. Use your imagination. We LOVE creative people!
