Here for your consideration is an outstanding Tiffany Stone (Bertrandite) Gemstone Cabochon. This pseudomorph of opal-beta-cristobalite exhibits abstract and crackly flows of pastel lavender, subtle porcelain like Calcite yellow and white, interspersed into a scenic brecciated watercolor motif. Bertrandite is a somewhat rare mineral that came from the Brush Wellman Beryllium mines, near Delta in the west desert of Juab County, Utah. This material contains trace amounts of Beryllium.
Skillfully hand cut and polished by Lexx. Vitreous polish front and back. Standard radius dome.
This attractive cabochon will make a wonderful collector's piece, wire wrap or precious metal setting for a bracelet, pendant or something special in your next project.
Photographed dry under full spectrum LED's and outdoors. Some natural pitting may occur with Tiffany Stone.
