This piece exhibits a brilliant, banded semi translucent, slight adularescent- iridescent lavender purple. lovely banded formations and was only found in the small town of Holley near Sweet Home, Oregon. The collection area has been closed off to mining for some years now. It is quite scarce to find Holley Blue Agate in pristine condition such as this, particularly in larger sizes.
